BULLETIN

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:

It is hard to believe that we are already starting the month of November, a month that signals the beginning of the holiday season. And true to form we have our big Book-Fest lined up for our November 16th General meeting via zoom and presented by Anna Bullard of Bookshop West Portal. A list of the books being reviewed and offered to us at a 20% discount will be emailed to members before the event. Nancy Broden is hosting the zoom meeting with the assistance from Yen Bachmeier who will connect the membership to the zoom meeting. Our business meeting will start at 1:00 PM and the book presentation will begin at 1:30PM. Eva Monroe is in charge of collecting contributions for the SF-Marin Food Bank. This is a very difficult year for so many people hit by fire and or loss of a job. So please be as generous as you can.

Looking ahead to December, a wreath making day will be held Saturday, December 5, from 10:00 AM till NOON. The FHA has agreed to provide the greens thanks to our liaison Kathe Farrell. The greens will be outside the clubhouse and all members are welcome to take some home. If you can contribute additional greenery, leaves or flowers, we will be grateful. In charge of the wreath making day will be Anna Bolechowski, who will have a table set up with bows and ornaments needed to decorate a wreath or table setting. We also will have a coffee table with some delectable baking goods produced by Marcia Elias and Ingeborg McGlynn. There will be coffee to drink. Mask wearing and keeping social distancing is required.

Stay healthy, safe, and keep in touch, I miss all of you,

-Ingeborg McGlynn
