PRESIDENTS' MESSAGE:

Welcome back from what was hopefully a joyful and relaxing summer spent with family and friends. As we enter our 89th year of our Forest Hill Garden Club, we can look back on the established fine traditions and happy events that have characterized the clubs activities. This coming year promises to be filled with very exiting programs every month.

Please join us for our welcome back luncheon on Monday, September 16th and invite a neighbor or friend old or new.

October has a very special program. Thalia Stratton, a well known artist, who will display a variety of, paintings from her travels to Paris, Athens and Rome related to dining, also street scenes from New York and San Francisco. She will paint a floral still life during her hour of the program. The finished product will be framed and raffled off to the members.

November brings our annual Food Drive benefiting the SF-Marin Food Bank and Bookshop West Portal will bring the latest books for members to peruse and purchase at a 20% discount. It is always a perfect time to find gifts for the holiday season.

Our traditional Holiday Dinner Party will be held Monday, December 2nd. Details for all our functions will be in the monthly bulletin prior to each event.

I look forward to seeing each of you at each of our monthly event, but don't come alone, do bring a new neighbor or two!
