PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:

Happy 2026!

We ended 2025 with a wonderful Wreath Making Day and very successful Holiday Party. This year’s Wreath Making Day was held on a Friday, as the clubhouse was rented on Saturday. We celebrated the beginning of the holidays by making wreaths, holiday arrangements, and drinking hot cider by the fireplace.

Thank you to Laura Outsen for hosting the event and making the day a very special one that was reminiscent of the community building Wreath Making Day, from years gone by.

This year we had beautiful decorations in the clubhouse and a wonderful tree that was decorated by Linda Simonin. Thank you for adding a bright splash of holiday spirit.

The Holiday Party was a cocktail party this year and was a big success, with 60 People in attendance. Thank you, Dottie McHugh, for doing an amazing job of hosting the event. Retro Notes provided live music and the food was excellent. Thank you to all who helped with the setup and take down for the party. We had Nancy Hagosian, Ann De Bruyn Kops, Donna De Santis-Buoymaster, Kathe Farrell, Ann Rieger-Matthews, Claudia Belshaw, Stan Puck, Dottie McHugh, Ingeborg McGlynn, Laura Outsen, and Anna Bolechowski.

Thank you to Donna De Santis-Buoymaster and Amy Quirk for providing all the wine for the event. Thank you to Kathleen Fong for providing the Brandied Cherries for the Manhattans.

Our Holiday Party is an especially nice event and a marvelous way to begin the Holidays and end the year 2025. Wishing everyone the good health and much happiness in the new year!
