Forest Hill Garden Club
PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE: February is upon us! Our January 22nd meeting included a total of 35 people. There waere 25 members and 10 guests, who came to hear James Dixon discuss the Architecture of Forest Hill. James is a suberb speaker and he presented us with a fesh look at the architectural details throughout our neighborhood. An expert in architectural stypes found in Forest Hill, James presented us with a new appreciation for the prominent shapes, windows, and materials used, in the houses that we see everyday. There are many people to recognize for their part in making ou gathering truly lovely. Thank you to Dena Aslanian-Williams for chairing the event, setting everything up, and making all the arragements to prepare for the afternoon presentation. I would like to thank the House Committee (Nancy Hagosian and Anna Bolechowski) for arranging the floral arragements and setting up the tea table. Thank you to Host of the Tea, Ingeborg McGlynn and her team, Marcia Elias, Claudia Belshaw, Amy Hartman and Amy Quirk. They provide delectable tea sandwiches, fruits, cookies, cakes, cheese and lovely goodies. Gratitude as well to anyone I may have missed, because many people stepped in and help. It takes many hands to create a fun event, thank you all! We are looking forward to seeing everyone on President's Day! Ann Rieger-Matthews
