VERONIKA EBERLE, violin



Veronika Eberle’s exceptional talent, the poise and maturity of her musicianship have been recognised by many of the world’s finest orchestras, venues and festivals, as well as by some of the most eminent conductors.

Concerto highlights of 16/17 season include debuts with the Philadelphia Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony and Philharmonia Orchestra London and return invitations to the Montreal Symphony, Munich Kammerorchester and Bayerischer Rundfunk Munich. Veronika appeared in Hamburgische Staatsoper’s production of Lulu, performing Berg’s Violin Concerto, conducted by Kent Nagano and continues her association with the Kamerakademie Potsdam with a season-long residency. She recently made her debut with Boston Symphony Orchestra at Tanglewood, Mozarteaum Orchestra Salzburg, Radio France Philharmonic and the Hamburger Philharmoniker.

Veronika Eberle is a dedicated chamber musician, with regular partners including Shai Wosner, Lars Vogt, Renaud Capuçon and Antoine Tamestit. During the 15/16 season she undertook a substantial chamber music tour with the soprano Anna Prohaska which visited major European venues including Wigmore Hall, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Konzerthaus Dortmund and the Salzburg Festival.

Veronika Eberle plays the “Dragonetti” Stradivarius (1700), on generous loan from the Nippon Music Foundation.
