PRESIDENTS' MESSAGE:

Happy New Year! The Forest Hill Garden Club ended the year with a bang with its annual dinner dance which was chaired by Jane Smith and Cathy Viehweg. Many compliments and thanks to Jane and Cathy and their committee for a wonderful Holiday Party. Special thanks go to Michael Creedon, Craig Viehweg and Rich Waller who pitched in to help with the heavy lifting.

The attendees enjoyed free flowing Martinis and Manhattans and a sumptuous dinner by Knight’s Catering. Tony Macaroni Band played dancing music and the members enjoyed singing along their favorite carols with Walt Farrell, accompanied by Michael Creedon and Rich Waller.

On January 18th, our Community Service Event and tea will benefit La Casa de Las Madres which provides refuge and support from domestic violence for women and children. Come and help put together packets for these moms and children. We are collecting small toiletries. If you can't make the meeting but would like to contribute something, please drop off items on the front porch at 373 Castenada Ave (Maria Elena Hanley) or 10 Sotelo Ave (Suzie Curtiss) before January 18.

01:30 PM	Community Service (Socks & Toiletries)
	Come bring small toiletries especially toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap,
	shampoo, conditioner, deodorant and new or gently used socks for infants,
	children and moms. We will package and donate them to women shelters.
